I will be presenting a program on Fly Fishing for Great Lakes Steelhead on Thursday evening April 21st at the monthly meeting of the Main Line Fly Tyers in Plymouth Meeting, PA. So if you live in eastern Pennsylvania stop by for an evening of discussing one of my favorite fish to pursue with a fly rod. The program looks at run timing, steelhead behavior, strategy, techniques, flies and some of the region's top rivers. The discussion on techniques focuses on my favorite approach to a steelhead river - swinging the fly, the use of switch and two-hand rods, and Spey casting.
